The website is provided for general information about our company and science. You may use it for lawful, personal and professional purposes. You must not misuse it, attempt to interfere with it, or copy its content beyond fair use without our written permission. All content, branding and materials are owned by or licensed to Canos.

Nothing on this website is veterinary advice, a diagnosis, or a substitute for the judgement of a qualified veterinarian who has examined your dog. If you are concerned about your dog's health, consult your veterinarian. In an emergency, seek veterinary care immediately.

Canos tests are laboratory tests that measure molecular signals associated with cancer in a blood sample. They are intended to support — never replace — a veterinarian's clinical assessment, and results must be interpreted by a veterinarian in the context of the individual dog.

No test is perfect. A result may be affected by biological, pre-analytical and technical factors, and a single result does not by itself confirm or exclude cancer. Decisions about diagnosis, treatment and monitoring remain with the treating veterinarian and you.

Unless we state otherwise in writing, our tests are veterinary laboratory tests; they are not human medical devices and are not intended for human use.

Joining the waitlist or requesting an early test registers your interest; it does not guarantee availability, timing or pricing. Where we offer a complimentary or early-access test, the specific offer terms communicated at the time apply. We may decline or end early-access programmes at our discretion.

Practices registering with us confirm they are appropriately licensed and will order, collect and interpret tests in line with our sample-handling instructions and their professional obligations. Separate practice terms may apply to ordering; where they conflict with these website terms, the practice terms govern the service.

Once a sample is submitted it may be consumed in testing and cannot be returned. How we handle personal data and sample data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

The Canos name, logo, website content, test reports and underlying technology are protected by intellectual-property laws in the UK, US and elsewhere. These terms grant you no rights to them except limited use of the website as intended.

The website is provided "as is". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded by law — including, in the UK, liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud — nor any rights you have as a consumer under UK or US law. Subject to that, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our aggregate liability arising from the website is limited to a reasonable amount.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction — except that if you are a consumer, you benefit from any mandatory protections of the law of your place of residence, and US consumers may bring claims in their local courts where the law allows.

We may update these terms as our services develop. The version on this page, with its "last updated" date, is the current one. Continued use of the website after a change means you accept the updated terms.
